Ashley,
Howdy! I loved the videos you had on your Globster. It seems like you are doing an excellent job as a first year librarian. I just started my position at the end of November. Do you have a partner for the two part assignment ? If, not, I would love to be your partner. Please let me know.
Thanks,
Tracy Blackwood

Tracy,
That would be great! I look forward to working with another “newbie”. I love my job and the teachers at my school. It has been a great learning curve but I am enjoying it very much.

Tracy called Ashley to discuss the assignment and decided to wait until the end of Spring Break to begin this project. We also decided during that time we would review the rubric and review the lessons to decide on one we would like to do for the project. We also previewed the different mapping sites and decided we would use cacoo.com.

Tracy,
I would like to deconstruct the lesson on page 104. Is this ok?

3/24/12
Ashley,
Looks like a great lesson! It could lead into another lesson explaining how the library is organized.

Tracy,
I created an account for us to build our thinking map and I sent you an invitation. This will allow you editing rights as well. Let me know if it doesn't work.

Ashley,
I was able to get on and it is looking great and lets talk Wednesday so we can put it all together.
Tracy

After we talked, we learned we live fairly close to each other and decided to meet to finalize our project. Any notes you see in green indicate our mutual thoughts on the questions and we answered them together.
We finished our project after meeting together.
